The shape families carry generic fill factors — the fraction of the rectangular bounding box that the real outline occupies: offset double-cut 0.62, single-cut 0.68, carved-top 0.70, horned double-cut 0.55, sharp V 0.45, and pointed offset 0.48.

Volume equals box volume times that fill factor, then weight equals volume times density.
